The suite is one room on the second floor. Only one client is booked at a time, so no one passes through while your hair is down and no one waits in the next chair. Your stylist is the only other person in the room, from the moment you arrive until you leave.

We sit down first, with the door closed: how you wear your hair, with and without a covering, and what you want from a cut. Then a wash, a cut and a blow-dry. This visit runs longer than the ones after it.

A conversation about what has been on your hair, the shade you want and the time it will take. A strand or patch test can be arranged if you need one. Nothing is colored at this visit.

Every visit goes the same way, so you always know what happens next.
Choose a service and a time on the booking page. Your confirmation has the street door code and the suite number, so you come straight up.
Park behind the building and come up to Suite 2. The room is ready and the door is closed behind you.
Take off your hijab and hang it on the hook. We talk about your hair first, then the cape goes on and the work begins.
A last look in the hand mirror, your covering back on, and you leave as you came. The next client is booked after you have gone.

Ameera built the suite so that no client has to ask to be left alone. She cuts, colors and styles every head herself, and speaks English and Arabic.

Before you book
Yes. Once the door is closed you are the only client in the room and Ameera is the only person who sees you. Your covering has a hook of its own, in reach of the chair, and goes back on before the door opens.
No. One client is booked at a time, and the next booking starts after you have left, so no one arrives while you are still in the room.
If you would like someone with you, say so when you book. One guest may sit with you, and the door closes the same way.
Yes, for girls 12 and up with a parent's yes. A parent or guardian stays with anyone under 16.
Never without asking. Nothing of you is posted unless you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.
Your confirmation has the street address, the buzzer and the door code. Parking is in the lot behind the building, and the suite is on the second floor.
