The private room
What privacy means here
Four things stay the same at every visit, whoever you are and whatever you book.
A private room
One room with its own door. It closes when you arrive and it stays closed until you go.
One client at a time
Bookings are spaced so that no one arrives while you are in the chair and no one waits beside you.
Hijab-friendly
Take your covering off when the door is closed. It rests on a hook within reach and goes back on before you leave.
No one else present
Your stylist is the only other person in the room. There are no photos of you unless you say yes.
Inside the suite
The room, the basin, the tools

A chair by the window
Daylight, a low stool and a rug underfoot. The chair faces the window, not the door.

A basin of your own
A wash basin in the corner of the same room, with a stool and a towel rack, so you never walk to a shared basin.

Tools on one cart
Combs, clips and sprays on one rolling cart, set out before you arrive and put away after you leave.
Questions about the room
Small things people ask
Is the door locked?
The suite door locks from the inside while you are here, so no one walks in. Ameera unlocks it when you are ready to leave.
Are there cameras in the room?
No. There are no cameras in the suite, and Ameera does not take photos of clients without asking first.
Where do I put my things?
There is a hook for your coat and scarf, a shelf for your bag and a place for your phone, all within reach of the chair.
Is the suite for women only?
Yes. The suite is for women and girls 12 and up, so that everyone who books can expect the same privacy.
