Cut and blow-dry
A cut, step by step
A cut planned around how your hair falls once it dries, for women who want it done in a room of their own. It takes about an hour.
- 0110 min
Step 1: Talk
How you wear your hair, with and without a covering, and what you want to change.
- 0210 min
Step 2: Wash
A wash at the basin in the same room, with a warm towel after.
- 0325 min
Step 3: Cut
Cut while your hair is damp and checked as it dries, so the shape holds.
- 0415 min
Step 4: Blow-dry and check
A blow-dry to see the cut as it will fall, then a last look in the hand mirror.

Questions
About a cut
Do I need a consultation first?
Your first visit begins with one, and it is part of the visit. After that, we talk for a few minutes at the start of each cut.
Can you cut hair that is curly or wavy?
Yes. Ameera cuts straight, wavy and curly hair. If your hair is very coily or in a protective style, ask before you book and she will say honestly whether she is the right stylist.
What if I only want a trim?
Book a trim. It is shorter than a cut, and the shape stays as it is.
